For Wednesday, please read the following essay: Should the SAT be abolished?
Questions to consider:
- Do you agree with the article that the SAT should be abolished? Why or why not?
- How about the KSAT? Should it be abolished? Why or why not?
- Compare and contrast the SAT and KSAT. How are they similar/different?
After the discussion, we will watch this documentary on testing in high school and how one school decided to take a different approach to helping students pass the test. You can choose to watch it before class, but know that we will still watch it together!
